Walk to Derricks Hut and beyond
While I continued my rehab as a lodge lizard at Mt Hotham, a troup of intrepid hikers set off to Derrick’s and Dibbin’s hut. Walking over a rolling scape of relatively fresh but dry snow among the snowgums. Forget the snow shoes or cross country skis, they preferred hiking boots.
What a feat! Britta, training for her hike to Machu Picchu, completed the round trip and provided these pics.
